Camporee- All Levels
Join SU72 on our annual Camporee weekend at Camp Canadensis, May 1-3 in the Poconos. Cost is $100 per person which includes 4 meals, cabin sleeping and tons of activities/fun. Register here to pay the deposit. Click here to pay the balance. All details are on our website including an FAQ document which answers the majority of questions.

Camporee Scholarships If you have a financial concern, our SU72 offers 4 - $50 camporee scholarships. Details can be found here. Application deadline is February 23rd. Please read the form carefully and note we do not ask for your financial information just a few short questions.
Please note per Girl Scouts USA regulations alcohol/drugs are not permitted at any event in which girls are present or business is conducted. There is no tolerance and there are consequences.

Girl Scout Birthday - Saturday, March 21, 2026 3-4:30pm at the Hillsborough Municipal Building. This event is troop registration only. Individual registrations will not be accepted, except for IRG+mentor. Register here.

Girl Scout Cookie Sale ENDS Mar 29th
Bronze Award Project: Girls from Troop 61096 are collecting new and gently used kids' clothes for the school nurses through March 31st. Undergarments must be new, pants and shirts can be gently used. Please see the link here for their flyer and more information on how to support them.
Troop Fundraiser Recycle Old Sneakers!!: Troop 61096 is collecting previously worn sneakers to fundraise for their trip to Savannah, GA. They must be in pairs, laces are preferable. Please tie each pair of sneakers together. Dropoff at 309 Spader Ct or email troop61096@borogirlscouts.org to arrange pick up. More locations to come. See flyer here. Ends March 31st.
SERVICE SPRING CLEANING: Help Wake Up the Pollinator Garden! Help us cut back and clean up our Hillsborough Girl Scouts Pollinator Garden and get it ready for SPRING! Sunday, March 29th - 11am until we are done! Sign up here.
SERVICE Gardeners and Butterfly Lovers - this SERVICE project is for you! Help tend our Hillsborough Girl Scouts Pollinator Garden. One sign up = One month of work! Tending to this garden means coming EACH WEEK OF THE MONTH to weed and refresh the hummingbird feeder. Do it as a family! Do it as a troop! This is an SU72 Community Service Award activity. Public Event EARTH DAY BEACH CLEANUP 2026 - Saturday, April 25th - 10 AM to Noon at Sandy Hook National Recreation Area: Beach Sweeps are a Jersey Tradition for over 40 Years! Groups of volunteers band together with buckets in hand to help clean up our beaches before the season begins. This is not a SU72 Sponsored event - families and troops will sign up individually with waterspirit.org. Participating Girl Scouts can request a Beach Clean-Up patch. This is an all ages, family and friends event. See this FLYER to find more information along with the links to sign up to order patches.

National/Council Activities:
GSHNJ Calendar of Events including hikes, and other fun events
GSHNJ Clubs/Teams: Learn more about Council-run special interest groups/teams for Girl Scouts including Family Ramblers (for girls & their families), SheStormz Robotics Team, Astronomy Club, Media Girls, and the HNJGIRL Advisory Board. These clubs/teams are independent of individual troop activities.
