FALL PRODUCT
Nuts/Magazines sales will start on 9/20 and end on 10/22. Additional information will be coming over the next few weeks. Please make sure you have re-registered.
SEPT LEADER/PARENT MEETING
Please join us to kick off this year at our Parent/Leader Meeting on Tuesday, Sept 19th at 7 PM. Location is in the process of being confirmed.
All for Fall - Saturday, October 21st 2-4 pm
Our annual Founders Day Celebration and Community Investiture/Rededication/Bridging event will take place on Oct 21st. Girls will do a craft to provide the Township with Thank You cards for Hillsborough Veterans, and we will celebrate our brand new Girl Scouts, re-dedicate our returning Girl and Adult Leaders, and bridge girls to their next level with a special ceremony. Reminder: Adult volunteers may be required for events. Girl Scouts should be wearing vest/sash/smock when volunteering in public.
Feed My Starving Children meal packing
Earn GSHNJ Hearts of Service hours at this meal packing event at Montgomery Free Evangelical Church Oct 6th/7th. You can sign up here directly with the organization. (This is not an SU72 hosted event.)
DPW Cleanup - B/J/C/S/A (9/29 & 10/1) - This is currently full. Troops who have signed up will receive additional waivers/forms within the next week or so.
Halloween Costume Dropoff & Craft - All Levels (10/4) - Hillsborough Parks and Rec is looking for gently used Halloween costumes. Girls of all levels may stop by the Library Program Room on 10/4 from 6:30p-7:30p to drop them off as well as color a Halloween bookmark to be donated to the Library. Can't make it? Please drop off your costume donations to 51 Michelle Lane by 10/4 in order to receive credit for the SU72 Community Service Award. Halloween Costume Pickup Volunteers - C/S/A (10/7) - Hillsborough Parks and Rec is also looking for four girl volunteers (Cadettes and higher) to assist at their Halloween Costume Exchange on Saturday, 10/7 from 8:30am-11:30am. NEW!! Mary Mother of God 75th Anniversary Fall Festival - 2nd year Juniors and higher (10/7) - MMOG Church is looking for Girl Scouts in 5th grade or higher (second year J/C/S/A) to help with activities such as helping kids with games of chance, handing out prizes and helping clear tables. In addition to the 10 girl volunteers for each of the two shifts, we need at least two background checked and registered adults to supervise. Pink Pumpkin Painting - All Levels (10/13) - Celebrate Breast Cancer Awareness month by painting pink pumpkins, making crafts, and donating gift bags to chemo patients. All levels are welcome to donate a chemo bag and decorate the event, but we are also looking for C/S/A girls to volunteer as well.
