SERVICE Reminders:  Adult volunteers may be required for events.  Girl Scouts should be wearing vest/sash/smock when volunteering in public.

December

• Moana 2 Movie event - (Open to the Public):  Sun Dec 1st Check-in 10:45 AM - Join Troop 61096 for their money earner at the Moana 2 movie event.  Details in the flyer.  Invite your friends and family!

• SERVICE: BoroSafe Bag Packing - Thursday Dec 5th - 2nd yr. Junior and above - Two Sessions:  6 PM / 7 PM (EVENT FULL)

• SERVICE: Tree Lighting Volunteers - C/S/A - Friday, Dec 6th - shifts 5:30-8:00 PM - Girls will help distribute cookies/hot cocoa, and help at the train line - link: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C054FA5A823ABF49-52403847-2024#/

• Holiday Event (All Levels) - Sat Dec 7th 2:00-3:30PM - Come celebrate the holidays with our community of HIllsborough Girl Scouts.  Crafts, S.W.A.P.S, and reindeer games.  Older girl helpers (C/S/A) needed for this event.  Sign up here

• SERVICE: Operation Shoebox Packing Event - All levels - Date TBD -  Girls will help pack snacks and toiletries to send to troops overseas

• World Thinking Day - Save the Date:  2/23/25  (Weather Date 3/2/25) - World Thinking Day is a Girl Scout tradition to learn about Girl Guides and Scouts in other countries and their cultural traditions.  

National/Council Activities:  

• Here is the Council calendar of events including hikes, and other fun events

• Family Ramblers Hiking Club:  a Council-run special interest group for Girl Scouts and their family members. Ramblers hike on their own as a family, exploring trails and swapping their adventures, resources, and trail reviews. Review the information here Questions?
