The Confidence Club is a free, kid-friendly workshop series created by Girl Scout Troop 61019 — Myra, Ruhie, and Sarina — as a Girl Scout Silver Award project. Over three sessions at the Hillsborough Township Library, we led approximately 45 kids ages 7–11 through games, discussions, and hands-on activities designed to build confidence, kindness, and resilience.
We partnered with Hillsborough Library staff, specifically Mr. Aaron Pickett to place our Confidence Club Toolkit in the youth mental health section, along with 150 confidence kits that will be handed out to youth. We also tied these confidence kits to the period health section, to help boost self-confidence and body image among young people.
Additionally, we created an Instagram page, conf.idenceclub, where we are sharing content and inviting followers. We are excited to share that we will be presenting our project to Troop 61020 on September 11th, as they are motivated to earn their Silver Award on the same topic.
