Note:  Unless otherwise specified, ALL events below are intended for registered members of SU72 (Hillsborough) ONLY.

SERVICE Reminders:  Adult volunteers may be required for events.  Girl Scouts should be wearing vest/sash/smock when volunteering in public.

Ongoing

• SERVICE April - Oct: Pollinator Garden: SU72 Community Service Award eligible - Volunteers commit to tend to the Pollinator Garden at the Municipal Complex *weekly* for the entire month. See flyer for details.

• SERVICE Bingo nights at Avalon (May through August; incoming J/C/S/A):  Avalon is looking for a few girls to help with their Bingo nights several times a month.

June

• SERVICE Hillsborough Fireworks 2025 Volunteers : Looking for incoming Cadettes and older to help with the Girl Scouts booth at the township family & fireworks event on Saturday, June 28th.

Fall 2025

• Fall Camping! - Many of us just returned from Camporee, but our outdoors team is already planning an SU Fall Camping opportunity. This event has been an annual tradition for many years and the team is bringing it back! For now, we are looking for a troop deposit for the weekend of October 3-5th 2025. Location is being finalized, either at Camp Dewitt in Hillsborough or Camp Oak Spring in Somerset. Please see further information on the flyer and sign up here. 

National/Council Activities:  

• GSHNJ Calendar of Events including hikes, and other fun events

• GSHNJ's Social Media Linktree - Includes links shared to their social media profiles

• GSHNJ Clubs/Teams:  Learn more about Council-run special interest groups/teams for Girl Scouts including Family Ramblers (for girls & their families), SheStormz Robotics Team, Astronomy Club, Media Girls, and the HNJGIRL Advisory Board.  These clubs/teams are independent of individual troop activities.
